Description

October Tide was the death/doom metal side project created by Jonas Renkse and Fred Norrman, members of Katatonia, but disbanded after two releases. Their debut album, Rain Without End, was recorded in 1995 and released on Vic Records in 1997. For their second album, Grey Dawn (released in 1999 on Avantgarde Records) they enlisted Mårten Hansen of A Canorous Quintet to replace Renske on vocals. The album was remastered and re-released by Peaceville Records in 2007. They never toured or gave any interviews and continue to maintain a low profile.
