Black Sabbath Reunites for a New ALbum and World Tour.

So its finally official the original lineup of the legendary heavy metal band BLACK SABBATH featuring Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass) and Bill Ward (drums) have finally reunited for a brand new album in 33 years and a World tour.

There was so much speculation in the air as we were approaching the d day. The official Sabbath website had a count down set for 11-11-11 and fans including me were damn sure that there's some good news round the corner. Also must congratulate the management team of the band that so far everything was kept under the wraps.

Their new album will be produced by Ruck Rubin and it is believed that the half of the songwriting for the album is already complete.

Some of the comments as from the band members

"It's now or never. We are getting along great. Everything's really good," Iommi said.

"It's like putting on an old glove. It's fantastic," he added.

The band credited Rubin's persistence for helping get them back in the studio. "He phoned us every five minutes," Iommi joked.

"It was the obvious choice," explained Osbourne of Rubin as producer. "I've known Rick for many years."

"It was time," said Osbourne of the reunion. "The timing was right."

Osbourne went on to reveal that they've written "seven or eight" new songs for the album, which they plan to release at the end of next year.

Butler added that the new songs are "back to the old SABBATH style and sound. The stuff that Tony's been playing is absolutely brilliant."

Rubin, who was also present at the event, said: "We've been working on developing material and we're halfway into the writing process. It's inspiring hearing what's coming out."

Personally as a huge Sabbath fan from India this news brings such joy into my life. Its kind of an emotional journey as well. It cannot get bigger and better than this. I have been waiting for this moment for years now and its finally happened.

The reason Gospel of Doom website is created its because of Sabbath. They have been my inspiration and teacher all these years. Thank you so much.

I remember posting comments on various forums and pages of all Sabbath members requesting them that we need one last effort from you'll and it feels that the band has finally heard their fans appeal.

Before leaving I would like to dedicate one of the Sabbath covers I have recorded for my solo project Cosmic Chants. Song is Paranoid. This is dedicated to Ozzy Osboure, Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler.
