Welcome to the gospelofdoom.in a website that is dedicated to support the sub-genre of music that we all love and know as Doom Metal. Its a Indian Tribute to Doom Metal Music. Doom Metal is a music that is driven by very slow, low tuned guitars and a much 'thicker' or 'heavier' sound than other metal genres. Black Sabbath being the pioneers of this sub genre of Metal who had introduced doom metal songs like Electric Funeral, Into The Void and the song that gave birth to what we know as Metal, a scary song called Black Sabbath.

Pentagram from US, another legendary group formend my lead singer Bobby Liebling. Bobby started making music before Sabbath and has created some amazing music. He is a wonderful song writer and along with amazing guitarist Victor Griffin have created probably some of the most sinister and scariest music we call Doom Metal.

Another legendary artist and one of my inspiration has to be Doom Metal legend Scott "Wino" Weinrich. He is the most sought after artist and is respected in th scene as one of the pioneers. He has been incvolved in many projects and bands including Place of Skulls, Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan, The Obsessed, Shrinebuilder, Premonition 13, Wino to name few.

Well myself Khushal Bhadra and my friend have been listening to this sub genre of music and our views on it are very strong. A very underrated sub genre of metal which needs your support as it has provided us with many great records by epic bands all over.

I am sure visiting this website and getting the resource and knowledge about the kind of music you are going to encounter would change the perception of your listening an would open a completely new direction of your listening experience.
